We make hardware. In Algeria.
Then we run the software that runs on it.
PCB design, firmware in C and Rust, connectivity, cloud platforms, mobile apps. The same engineering team owns the full vertical stack — from silicon to screen. Most teams can do software OR hardware. We do both.
How we make hardware.
What we engineer toward.
Every Symloop hardware product is built against these four engineering specifications. They're the bar — not the ceiling.
Operating environment
Tested in real-world Algerian conditions — desert summer heat, coastal humidity, dusty industrial sites. Devices ship with sealed enclosures and conformal-coated PCBs.
Power consumption
Engineered for grid-tied and battery-powered installations. Sleep modes drop sub-mA. PoE and 12-24V DC variants available for industrial deployments.
Field uptime
Watchdog timers, OTA recovery, dual firmware partitions, automatic factory reset on persistent failure. Devices recover themselves before anyone notices.
Field recovery
Every device reports its health back to the cloud. Failures are diagnosed remotely; if the device must be swapped, we ship a replacement and walk an on-site technician through it.
Five product categories. All in production.
We don't ship demos. Every product line below is deployed in real environments with paying customers and live telemetry.
Smart home & smart buildings
Apartment automation gateways, energy management, secure access control, climate sensors. Fully designed and manufactured in Algeria for the Algerian climate.
500+ apartments across Sétif, Algiers, Oran, Constantine. Deployed by major Algerian real estate developers.
Industrial monitoring & SCADA
Production-floor sensors, equipment health monitors, OEE dashboards, integration with existing PLCs and SCADA systems. Built for 24/7 operation in dusty manufacturing environments.
Manufacturing sites across Algeria — steel, glass, food processing, plastics.
POS & kiosk hardware
Custom point-of-sale terminals, self-service kiosks, queue management. Offline-first software, hardware-bound, multi-day uptime.
Retail chains, restaurants, government service points across MENA.
Connected agriculture
Smart irrigation controllers, soil moisture sensors, livestock GPS trackers, greenhouse climate automation. LoRa-based for remote field deployments.
Farms across Sétif highlands and the Algerian agricultural belt.
Custom embedded products
When existing hardware doesn't fit your problem, we design from scratch — schematic, PCB, firmware, enclosure, certification. End-to-end product development.
Custom engagements with industrial, healthcare, and fintech clients.
From idea to deployed device. Five steps.
Every Symloop hardware product moves through the same five-step pipeline — Design → Prototype → Manufacture → Deploy → Operate.
Design
Schematic capture, component selection, PCB layout, mechanical CAD, certification planning.
Prototype
Small-batch PCB fabrication, hand-assembly, firmware bring-up, environmental testing on real devices.
Manufacture
Production runs locally in Algeria. Quality control at the line. Firmware flashed and verified before shipment.
Deploy
On-site installation, network configuration, device provisioning, telemetry validation against the cloud platform.
Operate
OTA firmware updates, remote diagnostics, field-level dashboards, swap-out paths for end-of-life devices.
Same team, four layers, one product.
Most IoT projects fail because the hardware team and the cloud team have never met. We're one team across all four layers.

Common questions.
How much does a custom hardware project cost?
Hardware engineering is more capital-intensive than pure software. A typical custom embedded product (PCB design + firmware + small production batch) starts at €40K and ranges up to €250K depending on certification requirements, production volume, and integration complexity. We start with a fixed-price discovery (1–2 weeks) followed by a fixed-price prototype (4–8 weeks).
Where do you actually manufacture?
We design and manufacture in Algeria. PCB fabrication for prototype runs is done locally. Higher-volume production can be split between local assembly (for the Algerian and MENA markets) and certified contract manufacturers in China or Eastern Europe (for European delivery). We handle the manufacturing logistics — you don't have to.
Which connectivity protocols do you support?
Whatever fits the deployment: WiFi, Bluetooth Low Energy, LoRa/LoRaWAN, Sigfox, 4G/LTE-M, NB-IoT, Zigbee, Z-Wave, MQTT, CoAP. We pick the protocol based on range, power budget, and data volume — not based on what we know best.
How do you manage devices in the field?
Every Symloop device reports its health back to a central cloud platform. We provide a web dashboard for real-time monitoring, OTA firmware updates, remote diagnostics, and alerting. Failures are caught before they become outages. Most issues are resolved remotely without an on-site visit.
Do you handle certifications (CE, FCC)?
Yes. We design with certification in mind from day one — EMC compliance, safety, RF compliance. We work with accredited testing labs in Europe and the Gulf for CE/FCC marking. We've shipped CE-marked devices to European clients.
How long do your devices stay in production?
We design for 5–10 year deployments. Firmware updates remain supported for the lifetime of the product. Hardware components are selected for long-term availability — no obsolete parts in our BOMs. Our oldest deployed devices have been running continuously for over 1,200 days.
